Privacy policy

1. Controller

MadeByFilek is the name of Maciej Filek’s personal portfolio and is not a separate legal entity.

2. Hosting and server logs

This website is provided via the Lovable platform and delivered through a content delivery network. When you visit, technically necessary data is processed: IP address, time of request, requested resource, browser/user agent and other technical request information.

Purpose: delivering the website, security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure, reliable operation). The data is not used for profiling.

3. Contact

The contact form does not send data to a MadeByFilek server. When you fill it in and choose “Send message”, your own email program opens with a prepared message to m.filek@madebyfilek.de. I only receive your details once you send that email yourself.

I process emails to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed and no retention obligations apply.

4. Preferences stored in your browser

Your browser’s local storage (localStorage) holds display preferences only: the chosen colour theme (light/dark) and whether the homepage avatar is hidden. Live projects also keep their sample data only in your browser. This data never leaves your device and is not used for advertising or analytics. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

5. No analytics or advertising

This website uses no analytics tools, advertising trackers or marketing cookies. Fonts are loaded locally from this website, not from Google.

6. External content

Google Maps in live projects only loads after you click; only then is a connection to Google made. Links to external websites (e.g. filek-eco.de) only open when you click them; their operators’ privacy policies apply there.

7. Your rights

8. Changes

This privacy policy will be updated whenever relevant circumstances change, such as a change of hosting, a server-side contact form, an AI agent, analytics or new external services.
